Hi players, it's been 12 days since my first game ever came out. In the first days of the release of the game, about 500 copies were downloaded, at the moment it has already been downloaded 2770 times, for me this is a huge figure, since I have never seen such numbers on my pages, all thanks to those who play and continue to play Animachines, especially I want to pay tribute to the youtubers who filmed their reaction and test for the game, your criticism and support means a lot to me. On this day, I decided to talk about the idea of creating this game and what are the plans for its future, I will also talk about internal development.

The reason for the creation of Animachines and the sad fate of FNIA REMASTERED 


I think you're familiar with this title screen. This is FNIA REMASTERED created by Alpha and SC136 who was responsible for the design of these robots. The game was released on GameJolt and literally stayed there for only half a month, after which SC136 was blocked for an unknown reason, but Alpha decided to continue supporting the project for about half a year, after which Alpha abandoned the project. I didn't want people to be left without FNIA, seeing as they were waiting for the full version of this game as much as I was. Then 7 months ago I opened a page on Gamejolt and started posting news about the game. But I am not an easy person and I have a high regard for creativity, so I decided to make Animachines with a story, I started doing character design and thinking through the story, I have high hopes for the game, and I also try to stand out from all FNAF games. The prototype that I once called this version of the game is the backstory that I received under the heading NEW GENERATION, the version will be developed until 0.3, after which it will be like the full version. After that, I will start making the main story campaign, about the same Gavin, who was mentioned in the description.

According to the original idea, the game was supposed to be released on GMS2, but due to the lack of a number of functions, I could not make it the way I implement it, so for me it was the most optimal approximation, the game on GODOT where it has great functionality and is easily planned code , although you can also do visual programming there. Also during development, I ran into an optimization of the game, the game started to lag when you turn around. As mentioned above, I decided to finish the game to 0.3, then go to Godot and do everything with a transparent sheet there

And there was one person who directly told me that I would give up the game because of the models, but I simply couldn’t do it because of the plot, and there was no possibility, by the way, I have one such model appeared in Blender


But that's not the point, the point is that I started to master Sculpting to create SC136 characters, at the moment I'm practicing to create a face, I have no problems with the body. As for the improved model, I found where I can apply it, or rather on one character, but I will not talk about it yet, so as not to spoil it, I will say this, it will appear only 0.3 and will represent a huge storyline

The plot of the game

The game has a plot, both in Animachiens and in NEW GENERATION, but it will be fully provided only in 0.3, that is, in the release version, and Animachines the plot will unfold after NEW GENERATION when our guys were fired from work. After that, the new security guard Gavin will get a job due to the dismissal of his previous position, where he will sit until the new models from SC136, I can’t say anything more. Also in Animachines there will be cinematic videos made on UE5, since I am an animator, and this is my first studied work, I could not pass by my game and not make cinematics.

In this case, I prepared all the main characters that will participate in the cut-scenes (Yes, yes, I made them in META-HUMAN)

What are the changes in the game?

I could tell you more about the game, but something doesn’t fit into my head that I can add something

So let's talk about the game changes I've put in.

  1. A noise filter has been added on the cameras, thereby feeling the effect of VHS
  2. Texture filtering was applied, in other words, there is anti-aliasing on the sprites, which annoyed me so much in the game
  3. The main menu now looks like this
  4. The second night will have broken cameras active, as well as the addition of a pirate bay camera and two new characters FOXINA and Prototype 0.2
  5. I'll get ahead of myself, in 0.3 story mini-games with sprites and the story itself will be added
  6. ITCH IO gave me the right to upload games up to 4 GB, I do not worry about the size of the game
